Coaching software for personal trainers in Tunisia: 8 things to check
Which software or app should a personal trainer or nutritionist in Tunisia choose? Payments in dinars, D17 and Flouci, Arabic, a client app, check-ins: the 8 criteria that matter.
Coaching software is a tool that brings together, for one coach, their clients, their training and nutrition plans, their check-ins, messaging and payments. In Tunisia most coaches start with WhatsApp, a spreadsheet and a notebook. That holds up to about fifteen clients. Beyond that, check-ins, renewals and messages start to slip.
Most well-known coaching apps are built for Europe or the United States: prices in euros or dollars, card payments, no Arabic. Here are the eight criteria to check before you choose.
1. Payments in dinars, the way clients really pay
Your clients pay by D17, Flouci, Konnect, cash, bank transfer or cheque. Good software records all six for the right client, with packs in Tunisian dinars (TND), and shows you upcoming renewals and late payments. A tool that only knows card payments leaves the real work in a spreadsheet.
2. Arabic, French and English
Not all your clients read the same language. Check that each client can choose their own, and that Arabic really reads right to left rather than being half translated.
3. An app for your clients
A client should be able to follow their plan, do today's workout with timers and videos, and send their check-in from their phone. If everything goes out as PDFs on WhatsApp, you never see what they actually did.
4. Regular check-ins without chasing
Weight, measurements, sleep, energy: weekly check-ins are the heart of coaching. Look for scheduled check-ins that go out on their own, automatic reminders and a view of who has not answered.
5. Nutrition plans with real Tunisian foods
A meal plan built from foods your client actually eats (couscous, ojja, lablabi, tabouna bread) is a plan they follow. Check that the software calculates calories, protein, carbohydrates and fat, and that you can save your own recipes.
6. Templates so you never rewrite a plan
Build a programme once, save it as a template, then adapt it for each client in minutes. That is what lets you grow from 15 to 50 clients without losing your evenings.
7. A clear view of who is slipping
The most expensive client is the one who quietly stops. A good dashboard shows you every day who skipped a workout, who missed a check-in and who is due to renew.
8. A free trial with no credit card
Try it with three or four real clients for a few weeks before you pay. A trial that asks for a foreign credit card is not a real trial for a coach in Tunisia.
